About the Program

Effective team conversations are at the heart of all productive teams. You will use the Team Conversation Survey© to do an X-Ray of your team’s effectiveness in each of ten essential conversation areas. This will enable you to zero in on the areas of most value for your team.

 

Why is this diagnostic so important?
You don’t have time to guess where your team needs to focus in order to improve. You need to immediately focus in on the most important areas. The results of the survey reflect the team’s own experience, with each team member having an equal voice and contributing in a way that ensures their confidentiality.

The responses to the survey reveal not only the areas to focus on but suggest specific actions you can take to improve your conversational health. Improving your team’s conversations leads directly to clear agreements on how to move forward and deliver the results that your team was set up to achieve.

Teams will understand the strengths they can build on and identify areas that have been holding them back. Your team will then be able to move forward, confident in the path it has chosen.

 
 
 
How it works

The typical structure consists of a 2-hour interactive workshop – held either in-person, remotely, or as a hybrid. Teams may elect just to receive the Team Conversation Survey Report and decide for themselves how to proceed.

 

Team Conversation Survey
The team leader and each team member complete the survey in confidence using a link to our third-party software, delivered to their desktop. The survey will take 15-20 minutes to complete. It consists of examples of everyday behaviors of high performing teams, so no knowledge of team conversations is needed at this stage.

When we report the results, we will introduce the ten essential conversations of teams and then feedback your team’s scores. A full report of the survey results will be available to the team to provide an ongoing roadmap for the team. All members of the team as well as the leader are expected to participate in the survey.

 

Participants will:

  • Learn the ten critical conversations of all successful teams.
  • Receive their survey results linked to the ten conversations.
  • Discuss the results and identify the areas that they would like to address.
  • Make an actionable plan to improve their team’s performance for long-term success.
