Conversations of Successful Teams
About the Program

Identify, develop and apply the skills needed for your team to be successful using the TE3AM WORKS™ methodology based on the ten conversations of successful teams. The methods are universally applicable, and the skills you gain will benefit all teams that you lead or are a member of.

Why are conversations so important?
We spend much of our organizational life working in teams and by all accounts much of that time is considered of low value. High performing teams are a pleasure to be part of and deliver extraordinary results, but the secret of success can often seem elusive. At the heart of all successful teams are a network of trustworthy commitments and actions that deliver the results. These commitments arise out of the different types of conversations that teams have.

Teams will learn about ten essential conversations, discuss their own effectiveness with each of them and then design and practice different ways of working to transform their performance.

How it works

Our workshops are designed for all types of teams. Your team may already be working well but you want to take it to another level. Or your team may be off track and struggling with day-to-day activities.

Workshops start with a one-hour introduction to the ten essential conversations and are then tailored to a team’s unique needs. All team members and the team leader are expected to participate in the workshops.

Program Structure
The typical structure consists of four 90-minute interactive workshops – held either in-person, remotely, or as a hybrid. Each workshop builds on the previous one and can be delivered at a pace that suits the individual team. Teams will decide how many of the available workshops they would like to hold.

Participants will:

  • Learn about the ten critical conversations of all successful teams.
  • Take the Team Conversation Diagnostic to learn about the team’s specific strengths and areas for growth.
  • Undertake full team and small group discussions to agree areas of improvement for the team.
  • Design new actions and practices that change how the team works.
  • Review and measure progress and refine in the light of experience.

As a result of the program: Participants will develop more effective teamwork, build trust with each other and learn how to identify future areas needing attention. You will apply and practice skills that will be of value in all teams in which you are involved. Most importantly your team will be on a path to enhanced success.
